:: Merit Making ::
On Friday 28th September executive, staff, students, and neighbors payed respect to three monks by offering food and other items to them. As this is a religious rite attendance is not compulsory. The next merit making will be held in October. |

:: Visit internship students intake 36 & 38::
I-TIM Student Affairs assisted by faculty and staff visited our interning students in Bangkok. Ms. Rachanee Yusa, is interning in the Grand Mercure Hotel. Ms. Wirada Rojjannawatchara is interning with United Airlines, Ms. Thongtip Upkham is interning with Luftansa. Mr. Muhammad Mehdi Khan, Ms. Pitarpa Phuangngin, Ms. Sukanya Wannakham, Ms. Pornpattar Kongphruksachad, Ms. Salinda Ninrat and Mr. Mostafizior Rahman are interning at the Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport. Ms. Mathuros Yenrungruang and Ms. Natcha Puttaratsu are interning with Cathay Pacific. Ms. Laura Sacha Sibode, from France, is interning at the Plaza Athenee Hotel. |

:: Field Trip intake 39 ::
Students of the 39th intake went on the field trip on the 15th and 16th of September. The first stop was Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand for 417 years and students toured the Royal Summer Palace or "Bang Pa In". From Ayutthaya they traveled to Nakorn Ratchasima the gateway to I-San or North-East of Thailand. Students checked into the the Sima Thani and then had the opportunity to hear from the Front Office Manager and Training Manager, following that they toured all departments in the hotel. Students then paid respect to the monument of Thao Suranari who staved off an invasion by Loa soldiers in 1826. In the eveing students put on a show and after breakfast the next morning students traveled to Phimai, and toured the anciet Khmer temple which was constructed in the 11th century. The students then returned to Bangkok Sunday evening

:: Mubankru Technology School visits I-TIM ::
On Wednesday 5th September Mubankru Technology School, Bangkok, visited I-TIM to learn about European Table Manners. After a PowerPoint and practical demonstration students enjoyed a lunch prepared and served by our first year students. Our European Table Manners program is available Mondays to Thursdays at I-TIM.

:: First Merit Making for Intakes 37 and 39 ::
On Friday 31st August we had the merit making, or giving alms to monks, at the entrance of I-TIM. Giving alms to monks is a very long established tradition in Thailand and it is beleived that by giving alms you will reap benefits in the future. I-TIM students students, staff and neighbors are invited to attend. As this is a religious tradition attendance is not compulsory. The next merit making ceremony will be near the end of September. |

:: Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University visits I-TIM ::
On Thursday 30th August, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University visited I-TIM, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Sripho, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Mr. Chantouch Wannathanom, Head of Tourism and Hotel Department. After a briefing by I-TIM's Executive Director, Dr. Tongchai Savasdisara the President's Advisor Dr. Sawat Udompoch the delegation enjoyed lunch prepared and served by our students followed by a school inspection. Sunandha Rajabhat University has a very high reputation for producing quality tour guides and I-TIM looks forward to mutual cooperation. |

:: Graduation Day ::
The Graduation Ceremony was held on Saturday 25th August with the President of I-TIM, Khun Kongrit Hiranyakit presiding over the ceremony. This year, there were 132 students who graduated from I-TIM, 122 from the two-year diploma program and 10 from the one-year certificate program. Out of 122 diploma graduates, there were 10 graduates who completed their study with honors and they were conferred “Certificate of Excellence” due to their grade point average of 3.5 or higher with a perfect conduct score of 150, for the 2 years of their study. We wish all our graduates sucess in their future. |

:: Benchamarascharangsalit School visits I-TIM ::
On Monday 27th August Benchamaracharangsalit School, Chachongsao, visited I-TIM to learn about Europenean Table Manners. After a PowerPoint and practical demonstration students enjoyed a luch prepared and served by our first year students.

:: First Year Field Trip ::
Our first year students enjoyed their weekend feild trip to the ancient city of Ayutthaya to visit the Rayal Palace of Bang Pa In, stayed at the Sima Thani in Nakorn Ratchasima and visited all departments of the hotel and visit the ancient Khmer sanctuary at Phimai. Our students also had the opportunity to show their talent at a show at the Sima Thani Hotel.

:: Amazing Running at Suvarnabhumi Airport ::
The soon to be opened Suvarnabhumi Airport (pronounced as “Soo-wanna-poom” was the venue for "Amazing running at Suvarnabhumi Airport" as part of the celebrations of the Sixtieth Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne. I-TIM students along with student affairs staff joined this event on Saturday 9th September.

:: Student Elections at I-TIM ::
On Thursay 24th August the students voted for intake leaders and the student president.
Elected as student president was Ms. Kettida Tesvanich fron Nontaburi, she graduated from Rajaphat Suansunantha with a bachelors degree of arts, major advertising, in her first year she interned at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Bangkok. Intake leader for the 35th intake is Mr. Mongkhon Sohchoke from Surin, he graduated M.6 from Pariyattikoson Wittaya School, Surin and interned at the Shangri La Hotel, Bangkok, the intake leader for the first year students of the 37th intake is Mr. Phanuphat Chawnafang from Uttaradit, he graduated M.6 from Uttaradit School. |

Five second year students represented I-TIM on Thursday 10th August on the This Afternoon program on Channel 9. Mr. Juturong Chaisang, the Minister of Education was the special guest. Those selected to appear were Mr. Tewin Noppakathada from Nakorn Ratchasima, Ms. Sangmuka Geerapong from Phetchabun, Ms. Mingkwan Boonrawd from Roi-Et, Ms. Tunpitcha Sangkaewpanao from Pathum Thani and Mr. Touchai Ratiroj from Bangkok. |

Skal International Koh Samui invited I-TIM Executive Director Dr. Tongchai Savasdisara and Mr. Andrew J. Wood, International Councillor for Skal Thailand,Director for Development Skal Asian Area, Member of the Organizing Committee for the Skal World Congress Pattaya, and GM of the Chaophya Hotel in Bangkok to be guest speakers at the Skal Club of Koh Samui for their July meeting.
